While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I discovered behind its threshold was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

The floors were sticky , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and filthy restrooms suffused the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and illness . The counter , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and litter that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The lavatory was in even a truly awful state—overflowing , with a broken handle and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human excrement .
